Yes. Recordings are a part of Vetster’s privacy standards, designed to protect both you and our veterinarians. Secure recordings help ensure quality care and accurate documentation. Transcriptions also make it easier to review details after your appointment, supporting better ongoing care for your pet.
An appointment is never recorded without your consent. We collect your consent during sign-up, and before each call begins, you’ll see a clear reminder that the session will be recorded. This ensures you’re always informed and in control before the recording starts.
Recording access and storage
Access to your recordings is strictly controlled and limited to only a few authorized individuals for specific, predefined purposes, such as a billing dispute or an investigation of a quality-of-care or safety concern. Recordings are never shared or sold. For full details about access to recordings, please see our Privacy Policy.
Recordings are stored securely for seven years to ensure any concerns or claims can be thoroughly reviewed.
Recording requests
Requests are reviewed case by case. Please contact our Privacy Officer at support@vetster.com with your request and any relevant documentation (such as a legal request or ongoing claim).
