Vetster is a marketplace facilitator. As a marketplace facilitator, Vetster is
responsible for collecting and remitting sales tax on the veterinarian’s behalf.
When an appointment is booked on the platform, relevant sales tax is collected
from the customer, and remitted to the tax authorities on behalf of the vet. The rate
at which sales tax is collected is based on the prescribed provincial sales tax rates
in the province in which the appointment takes place.
