Vetster has partnered with PetMeds to improve the experience of virtual care for pet owners and veterinarians. VetsterRx is now fulfilled by PetMeds in the US; and VetLive by PetMeds - powered by Vetster brings a new source of appointments.
How does Vetster work with PetMeds?
This partnership is made up of two main elements:
- VetsterRx is now fulfilled by PetMeds in the US - this is the fulsome catalogue of prescription and OTC products you'll see in Vetster when prescribing.
- VetLive by PetMeds - powered by Vetster has launched and represents a new source of Vetster appointments
What is VetLive?
VetLive makes it easy for pet parents to book an appointment with you from the PetMeds website, and then take the appointment with Vetster.
What is my affiliation with PetMeds?
None: this partnership and its elements do not create any new kind of affiliation for Vetster veterinarians on PetMeds. If your availability for appointments is open, we will simply surface your Vetster availability for pet parents on PetMeds to book with you. They then take the appointment with you on Vetster.
Do I need a VetLive account to take these appointments?
No - you can take these appointments as normal in Vetster and you don't need to do anything differently.
Do my clients or I need a PetMeds account to be able to prescribe/order on VetsterRx?
No. When you choose to prescribe on VetsterRx, clients will be prompted to process their order within Vetster, and PetMeds will fulfill the orders.
When PetMeds clients find you through VetLive, they may already have a PetMeds account but this won't affect your experience or their ability to order on Vetster.
Will my payouts experience and amounts be changing?
The payouts process has not changed, we are simply adding new sources of appointments which means more appointments and more relieved pet parents.
