Vetster Plus Usage Guidelines

These usage guidelines are in place to help ensure that we can continue offering unlimited vet care at an affordable cost. Vetster Plus plans help pet parents provide the best care for their pets with access to veterinary consultations, live chat with a licensed veterinary technician, and prescriptions where available


Please note that at this time, Vetster Plus annual plans are intended to be used for a single pet. Additional pets can be added to your plan from your Dashboard.


  1. Booking Appointments:
    1. You may book one appointment and one follow-up appointment per concern.
    2. Only one appointment may be scheduled at a given time. (For example, if you have an upcoming appointment booked, you may not book another appointment until the first is completed.) Please note you cannot exceed 1 appointment in a 24 hour time period. 
    3. You may not seek multiple opinions regarding the same issue from different Veterinarians.
  2. Direct Messages:
    1. For follow-up questions pertaining to a completed appointment, you may send a direct message to the veterinarian for up to 48 hours after your appointment has been completed. For step-by-step instructions on sending a direct message, visit this article.
  3. Vetster Live Chat:
    1. Your plan includes unlimited access to chat with a licensed veterinary technician. Our technicians can provide professional advice on general health and wellness concerns such as diet, nutrition, exercise, weight management, behavioral issues, quality of life and more. You can access Vetster Live Chat during online hours from your Dashboard.
